Sling meet locations

Our two regular sling meet locations are Megakidz and the Hallamshire House.
Megakidz (website)
Megacentre, Bernard Road, Sheffield S2 5BQ

Driving
The Megacentre has its own parking, and is just off Sheffield Parkway. You get to it by coming off at the Park and Ride and following the road round to the left then right. Alternatively, go up Broad Street from Park Square and take the first left (bridge over the Parkway).
Public Transport
Trams and buses stop on the corner of Cricket Inn Road and Bernard Road - look across the road bridge over the Parkway and you'll see Megacentre right in front of you.

Trams
Take the yellow or purple tram (Meadowhall direction) to Hyde Park.

Buses
Take the 22 from Nether Edge or 25/25A from Bradway and Chesterfield Road to Cricket Inn Rd/Bernard Rd. All of these buses go down Arundel Gate and round Castle Markets.

Megakidz is about 15 minutes' walk from the city centre. Here are walking directions from  the corner of High Street and Arundel Gate; most buses into town stop somewhere in that vicinity (obviously go over Park Square by footbridge, rather than round the roundabout as the directions suggest!).

Also, it is about ten minutes' walk from the Attercliffe Road/Warren Street bus stops, used by the 4 between Darnall and Millhouses, the 6 from Darnall, the 52 between Crookes, Hillsborough and Woodhouse, the 69 from Rotherham and the X78 from Doncaster and Rotherham (click here for walking directions) - perhaps a bit easy to get lost for people who don't know the area, though.

Trains
Megakidz is approximately 20 minutes' walk from Sheffield Rail Station (click here for walking directions).
Hallamshire House (website)
Commonside, Sheffield S10 1GF

Driving
Go up Barber Road from the University roundabout, and turn left on Commonside after PA Jewellery, opposite the Dram Shop. Much of the local parking is permit only, but you can park for free on some side streets.

Public Transport
Buses
Take the 95 from the Interchange up Barber Road to Commonside/Barber Rd. This bus stops in town at Flat St, Church St and West St.

The 10 and 10A circular buses go along Crookesmoor Road. Get off the 10 at Crookesmoor/Conduit Rd, or off the 10A at Crookesmoor/Northumberland Rd. Walk up Spring Hill, then Spring Hill Road.
